5 Supabase and how data is stored

5.1 Supabase as service provider

We currently use Supabase as our main backend and database provider. Personal data you enter into the Service is stored on Supabase's infrastructure on our behalf. Supabase acts as our data processor under GDPR, and we have a data processing agreement in place.

5.2 Storage location and transfers

Your data is stored on Supabase's cloud infrastructure. This may involve transfers of personal data to countries outside your own country. Where such transfers involve countries outside the EU/EEA, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, or that another valid transfer mechanism is used.

6 How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:

  • Account and profile data are stored while you have an active account.
  • If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period, subject to any legal retention obligations.
  • Technical logs and backup copies may be retained for a limited time for security, troubleshooting, and backup purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

7 Sharing of personal data

7.1 Service providers

We may share personal data with trusted service providers who help us operate the Service, such as Supabase. These providers act as data processors and may only process personal data based on our instructions and for the purposes described above.

7.2 Legal requirements and business protection
